International Youth Festival
The festival is held as the result of the fact that the UNO and UNESCO declared the year 2011 as “International year of drawing cultures closer”, which reflects that the youth and all the society in general get closer in the strife to direct all the possibilities of culture to peace and creation.
The first International Youth Festival “The Parade of Cultures Sevastopol 2011” is the event founded by the Ukrainian Maritime Institute (Sevastopol, the Crimea, Ukraine), the International Cultural Centre (Sevastopol, the Crimea, Ukraine), Tavrichesky national University ( Simferopol, the Crimea, Ukraine) as an annual wide scale, mass international pithy and holiday event of youth and inhabitants of the Crimea, which gives its participants a possibility to show cultural, intellectual, sport and professional achievements, as well as to show its role and participation in the stable social development of the country and the realization of the idea of the world culture.
Other regions of Ukraine, commercial, noncommercial and international organizations can also be founders of the festival.
Participants and delegations of the Festival.
Participants of the festival are youth, students’ nongovernmental and governmental organizations, public units, creative collective bodies, educational establishments of different regions of Ukraine and of the whole world, bodies of executive and legislative power of all levels.
The festival is open for all positive forces, notwithstanding their ideological, political, social, religious and other views.
The desirable age of the participants is over 18.
The number of delegation members from other countries is up to 50 people.
